Card Making

Card Challenge #2

I decided to make a card which I could enter into a few different challenge blogs. So I chose the Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge which this week was a sketch to follow:-

The next challenge is the MFT colour challenge which has the following colours:-

and finally the Simon Says Stamp challenge which is:-

“Add A Sentiment”

So here’s the card I came up with:-

I first used distress inks to colour the background and on the orange stripe I used the sentiments ‘Good Luck’ and ‘I’m Cheering for You’ and repeat-stamped these in red ink.

I stamped the three cheerleading pandas on some white card in a circle and then coloured them in along with the background using Promarkers. I die cut these out and stuck the zig-zag circle on with foam pads.

I then die-cut the sentiment out and coloured it with some blue and red dewdrop inks. I layered another die-cut underneath to make it stand out more and then glued this on.

I layered this onto a red piece of cardstock and then onto a black side-opening card and then rounded off the two outer edges using a corner punch.

I added some Perfect Pearls onto the orange circle and some clear Wink of Stella onto the pandas and sentiment. I spritzed the card to set the perfect pearls and add a bit of interest to the background then finally I added three red gems.

Thanks for looking 🙂
