For my last card, I foudn the challenge on Make My Monday which is Monochromatic.
I used my vintage ivory linen cardstock as the base colour and decided it would look really nice with gold. I accented this with black.
I used my stamping platform and clear emboss ink to add the fern leaves to the black card and then heat embossed them with gold powder. I cut the black card to shape using a stitched rectangle die.
I cut out the letters from white card and coloured over them with a gold Sharpie. I then stuck these to some trimmings of my linen cardstock and stuck these on using 3D foam pads.
Finally I added some golden rhinestones and went over the sentiment with my clear Wink of Stella.
A simple card to make but I love the gold-on-black look and think it’s looks really warm and summery 🙂
